Obituary for Sherry Michelle Naivar

Sherry Michelle Naivar, age 44, of Little River – Academy passed away from this life on Saturday, November 24, 2018 surrounded by loved ones. Sherry was born June 17, 1974.

Sherry was a 1992 graduate of Belton High School and then received her Associate’s Degree from Temple College. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Little River. She has been a resident of the Bell County area most of her life.

Sherry was full of life, known for her kind, loving personality, and a smile that could brighten anyone’s day. She loved deeply, and showed nothing but care and support to those around her. She was a loving daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. Her love for her family and friends was always first, but her love for the Cowboys, Rangers, and NASCAR was a close second.

Sherry is preceded in death by grandparents Bill and Zelma Retzlaff, and Frank and Millie Naivar.

Sherry leaves behind to cherish her memory her parents Frank and Barbara Naivar of Little River-Academy, and 4 sisters Tammy Baca and husband Randy Baca of Holland, Linda Castleberry and husband Dwayne Castleberry of Morgan’s Point Resort, Susan Jackson and husband Joe Jackson of Salado, and Saundra Jackson and husband Randy Jackson of Salado. 10 nieces and nephews, Chris Baca, and wife Heather, Richard Baca, Melinda Castleberry, Devon Castleberry, Nikki Jackson, Nathan Jackson, Craig Jackson, and wife Veronica, Kevin Jackson, and wife Micah, Randy Baca, and wife Shannon, and Nathaniel Baca and wife Ashley. Along with 10 great nieces and nephews, Addison, Harper, Joe Henry Blue, Adalynn Ann, Isabell, Isaac, Riley, Devon, Arianna, and Leonardo.

A memorial service will be held at Hewett-Arney Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 4th at 1:00pm, with Rev. Don Johnson officiating.
