Gene McIntosh, age 66, of Temple died at his residence in the early morning hours of Tuesday, December 04, 2018. He was born on August 10, 1952 in Kenton County, Kentucky to Roy and Stella (Harold) McIntosh.
Gene married Sherri Flippin on November 11, 1995 in Amarillo. He has lived in Bell County since 2002 and was the unofficial president of the Redneck Yacht Club.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife Sherri McIntosh of Temple, his daughter Nicole Niebling of Fort Worth, his son Camron Munger of Amarillo and his three grandchildren Nicolas, Shelby and Bentley.
A celebration of Gene’s life will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, December 8, 2018 at the home of Nicole Niebling.
Hewett-Arney Funeral Home of Temple is entrusted with the arrangements.

Please accept my sincere sympathy in the loss of your loved one.
At a sad time as this, the Bible gives us comfort at Revelation 21:3,4 where God promises to eliminate sickness, sorrow and death. What a wonderful time when we o longer have to face these enemies.
I hope this scripture gives you some consolation.

So sorry to learn of Gene's passing. I did not know Gene that well and it has been a few years since I've seen him. But the one thing that stands out in my memory of Gene is that he always had a smile on his face and he made me feel welcome in his presence. I will miss him. God's blessings.
