Bert Howard Malcom, aged 47 years, of Hempstead, Texas passed away on the afternoon of Saturday, May 26, 2018 at a Temple, Texas hospital. He was born on the 1st day of August 1970 in Richland Hills, Texas to Bert Sr. and Linda (Peters) Malcom.
During his early years Bert attended school in Pilot Point, Texas. He met Teresa (Embry) in 2013 and together they have spent the last 5 years together with the past year being together as husband and wife. Bert was a true lover of music and anyone that knew him knew that when KISS was playing in concert anywhere in Texas, Bert was sure to be there. He loved all genres of music but when Barry Manilow came through the speakers the radio dial would have to be adjusted to a different station. Bert enjoyed computers and things involving technology and was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys and the Texas Rangers.
Bert could be described as a pretty laid back guy. He was the guy you could go to with your problems and never have to be worried about being judged. He was open minded on many issues and was always a voice of reason when advice was needed. Bert was a man of great integrity and was always very respectful to those he met. He was a great patriot who loved his country and he knew and loved his God as Bert was a faithful Christian. He has been a resident of Hempstead for the past 3 years.
